A few things to consider when checking in.

  • The check-in closes 15 minutes before departure for domestic flights.
    The check-in closes 30 minutes before departure for international scheduled flights.
    The check-in closes 60 minutes before departure for charter flights.
  • You need a valid passport to travel outside the Nordic countries. For more information, see the Police website.
  • Have your travel documents ready (ticket/booking number and passport/international ID card) when you get to the check-in.
  • The maximum measurements and weight of checked baggage vary between airlines. Read more about what applies here.
  • Specific seats on board the plane (only for charter flights) must be reserved with the tour operator. No seat allocations can be made at check-in.
  • When you have checked in and gone through the security control, you get to the departure hall, and from there you go to the aircraft. Smoking is not permitted after you pass through the security control.


Since 1 January 2015, passports and travel documents on entry to Turkey, with a validity of at least 150 days from the date of departure. For travel within the EU need your passport does not have a longer term than the date of departure (These rules apply to Swedish nationals). Within the Schengen, you as a Swedish citizen are allowed to travel with your national ID card, and dont need your passport. At the police or passport office you will apply for ID card. With the national ID card, you can travel to and stay in all EU countries. Since July 1, 2015, national ID card can also be used when traveling to Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
