1995 - The first charter flight
Goes from örebro to turkey
In the Spring of 1995 landed the first ever charter flight at Örebro-Bofors Airport. Express Resor´s airline Sunways had the privilege to land the aircraft and take passengers to Turkey. The development of the charter flights has since then introduced multiple destinations around the world, and also flights during the winter period. In the first year of charter flights, back in 1995, we had already a total of 105 451 passengers travelling from our airport.
